2 question: Why is it called White hat hacking, and what makes it different from normal hacking.
white hat hacking is when you hack for the benefit of someone not stealing any information and also telling the owner or the web master of the site how he could fix it. http://searchsecurity.techtarget.com/definition/white-hat/
Same as all hackers but use their skills for good.
Use penetration testing try to find vulnerabilities in the computer systems. So black hat cant use the same thing route.
Will be on the outside and try to access but some will go in their clients building and try ti access it through there.
White hat hackers have authorization to hack where as black hat hackers don't.
Also known as ethical hackers.

This affects my life because if it wasn't for them all my information could have been robbed. Also a lot of sites that I use could have been stolen. If all of them became black hat hackers then we would be in trouble because there would be no way to know our companies weaknesses.
